I am easy to work with, highly organized, and make my clients feel comfortable during photo shoots. I have a background in marketing, graphic art, and social media. I provide businesses and entrepreneurs with headshots, marketing photography, and product photography. I also offer "green screen" compositing graphic art projects from headshots to special projects. My current focus is Medical Individual & Team Headshots. I have a specialized system for larger team scheduling that makes it the most convenient booking system for medium to large companies. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try to keep my pricing pretty clear and pretty simple.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I work with a new prospect I definitely find out through a series of communication, if I am in fact the right person for their needs. I focus on style, needs and timeframe to decide if I should refer someone out or take the job. Most of all, I want people to be with the right photographer for the job at hand. Everyone has a different personality and vision and that is above all, important to me! From there, I move to discuss location, look and booking. Most people book me upon referral and seeing my work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a Graphic Designer for over 12 years (self taught). Both freelance and in the work-world. I decided to expand in to photography after doing a lot of graphic design for photographers. I am completely self-taught and invest myself in learning from top professionals each year. I value the importance of continually learning and expanding my skills.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was asked to do some newborn photo's just because of my "artistic eye" - at the time I did not have any experience. It stemmed my interests and I researched and learned from there.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did some really lovely maternity photo's (first baby for the couple). The photo's turned out absolutely lovely, very painterly and dreamy. The shoot took all of 20-minutes, but the final images were absolutely stunning.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would definitely make sure you look at the photographers [ most recent ] work and make sure they are consistent in their quality of work. See if their overall style fits your ideal vision. I get a number of inquiries for certain specifications (i.e. props and setups) I may not really do, so I simply refer those people to a local colleague who will be able to take care of them. My biggest advice is to not choose someone because they have a camera and take photos (or solely based on price). If your ideal budget is not far from the photographers asking price, let them know what your budget is or ask if they do a payment plan. But be realistic.

Date, time, visual expectations and turnaround time.
